How do I officially book Colleen Elizabeth Makeup for my wedding day?
To secure a wedding date, a $100 deposit is required (applied toward the final balance) as well as completion of a bridal intake form.
When should I schedule a makeup trial?
If you have booked Colleen Elizabeth Makeup for your wedding day, I recommend scheduling the trial 1-3 months before the wedding. If you have not booked Colleen Elizabeth Makeup yet and are waiting for the trial to do so, I recommend scheduling the trial as soon as possible to ensure that your wedding date will be available.
What happens at the makeup trial?
At the trial, we’ll go over what you have in mind, I’ll offer some suggestions, and we’ll play around with different looks so that you’ll be 100% satisfied on your wedding day. I recommend that you find images of looks that you like (for example, from Pinterest, magazines, my website, etc.) and bring them with you so that we can review together.
Is a makeup trial necessary?
It’s not necessary, but it’s highly recommended. It saves a lot of time on your wedding day and is one less thing to think about. Some past brides couldn’t do trials because they were from out of state or country, and that’s perfectly OK – we’ll make it work!
How long does the makeup trial last?
Trials usually last around ninety minutes.
Can I bring a friend or relative with me to the makeup trial?
Absolutely!
Do you only go on-location?
On your wedding day, I travel to you. However, trials are done from my home in Bristol, RI.
Is there a minimum and/or maximum group size?
The group size must be a minimum of three people and a maximum of six people (including the bride). I personally do all makeup applications, so the maximum ensures that everyone has the time they need without feeling rushed.
Do you offer hair services?
No – our specialty is makeup!
What makeup brands do you use?
I mainly use Temptu Airbrush Makeup and Stila Cosmetics. I do have other lines in my makeup kit such as Two Faced and Urban Decay. I pride myself in using the best products possible so that your makeup will last all day, feel lightweight and look flawless.
