Thanks for checking out my first blog post! Go easy on me, I’m a newbie at this! 🙂
One of the fun aspects of my career is collaborating with other professionals. I recently worked with Photography by Mallory to produce a 1920’s inspired wedding photoshoot at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum, a beautiful special events facility on the Bristol, RI waterfront. Our shoot was published in Southern New England Weddings Destination Magazine, and you can check out the article on the Press page.
Our color theme was Cranberry and Ivory, and we used antique furniture, linens, and dishware to set the scene on the Blithewold grounds. We were also lucky enough to borrow a vintage 1920 Model T! Mallory and I had a great team of local vendors who contributed to this shoot: Leslie Lee Floral Design from New Bedford, MA made a beautiful bouquet and table setting that perfectly captured the vintage vibe of the shoot. The Cake Gallery in downtown Bristol made a delicious, tall “naked cake”. Alexandra’s Bridal Boutique in Fall River, MA provided a beautiful vintage-inspired wedding dress for our “bride” and Milan Fine Clothiers in Barrington, RI dressed our handsome “groom”. Hair was done by C. King Brides and airbrush makeup was done by Colleen Elizabeth Makeup.
I’ll be sharing some other fun bridal style shoots and real weddings in the future!
